For freelancers

Your client pays in full. So do you. Nothing gets shaved off in transit.

Send a USD invoice as a link. Your client pays it in USDC or USDT from any wallet. Licensed partners handle the conversion and payout right after. Timing depends on the partner and is not yet a published SLA.

The problem, in one line

A $3,000 invoice paid by international wire arrives short: the sending bank charges a fee, the correspondent bank takes its cut, and the receiving bank applies its own spread. You find out how short only when the money lands, days later.

Why do my international invoices arrive short?

Because a wire is deducted from along the way. The sending bank charges, intermediary banks take a cut each, and the receiving bank applies its own FX rate. None of it is itemised on your invoice, so the shortfall only appears at the end.

Will my client find this harder than a bank transfer?

Usually easier. They open a link, connect a wallet and pay. No account with Kollect, no forms, no correspondent details to key in wrongly. What they see is the amount you invoiced, in USD.

Does this work for small invoices?

Only above the minimum transaction value of $1,000, which applies on every plan. Below that a payment cannot be collected, so it suits project and retainer invoicing rather than micro-payments.

What you keep on a freelance invoice

Typical freelance invoice sizes. Adjust the amount to match your own.

Modelled at 0.5% fee + $35.00 fixed + 2.5% FX for a wire. Kollect is priced at 0.75% on the Micro plan, with no FX markup on the USDC to USD conversion. The plan follows your volume: this invoice repeating monthly is $9,000.00 over 3 months, which is the band that volume falls into. The processing fee falls to 0.45% at higher volume. Each plan also carries a monthly subscription, which is not in these figures. See the full rate card.
