How do you accept USDT payments?

USDT serves the same function as USDC, with a different issuer and reserve arrangement. It is widely held, so many international payers already have it. The collection flow is identical: you invoice in USD, they pay in USDT, and you settle to a bank account or keep the stablecoin.

01 Invoice

Send a USD payment link

Create the payment by API or from the dashboard and share the hosted link by any channel.

02 Pay

Customer pays in USDT

They open the link, connect any wallet and pay on Ethereum mainnet and Polygon. No signup on their side.

03 Confirm

Received on-chain

The payment is confirmed on-chain and screened for AML before anything moves onward.

04 Settle

Settle to bank or wallet

Licensed partners convert and pay out in USD, EUR, SGD, or the USDT lands directly in your own wallet.

Should I accept both USDT and USDC?

Usually yes. They serve the same function, and offering both means a payer uses whichever they already hold rather than acquiring the other first. The accepted tokens are set per payment, so one link can take either.

Does accepting USDT cost more than USDC?

No. The processing fee is the plan's fee whichever token is paid, and there is no separate FX markup on either conversion. Token choice is the payer's convenience, not a pricing lever.

What backs a USDT payment?

USDT is issued against reserves held by its issuer, which is a different company and a different reserve arrangement from USDC. Both are intended to hold a one-dollar value; the difference is who stands behind that and how it is attested.

USDT questions

Every answer here is mirrored verbatim in this page's FAQ structured data, so nothing is hidden behind a click.

01

What is the difference between accepting USDT and USDC?

For you, very little: the same payment link, the same networks, the same fee and the same settlement options. The difference is the issuer and the reserve arrangement behind each token. Offering both means a payer uses whichever they already hold.

02

Can one payment link accept both USDT and USDC?

Yes. The accepted tokens are set per payment, so a single link can take either and the payer picks at the wallet step.

03

Which networks can USDT be paid on?

USDT is accepted on Ethereum mainnet and Polygon. The payment link states the network before the customer confirms.
