Why accept USDC instead of a bank transfer?
A wire routes through correspondent banks that each take a cut and a day. A USDC payment is one on-chain transfer, confirmed in minutes, priced at the amount collected rather than whatever the chain of intermediaries deducts on the way.
Is a USDC payment exposed to crypto volatility?
USDC is a stablecoin: one token is intended to hold one US dollar of value, backed by reserves held by a regulated issuer. It does not float like other crypto assets, which is why an invoice can be denominated in USD and settled in it.
Will the amount received match my invoice?
The payer sends the invoiced amount. What reaches you is that amount less the processing fee for your plan, with no separate FX markup on the conversion and settlement to your bank included. Nothing is deducted by an intermediary you never chose.
