How do you convert stablecoin to fiat in a bank account?

This is the rail most businesses use. The payment arrives on-chain in stablecoin, and the money leaves as fiat in your bank account. Kollect is non-custodial throughout: licensed partners hold the funds during the fiat leg, not Kollect.

01 Receive

Stablecoin arrives on-chain

The customer pays your invoice in USDC or USDT from any wallet.

02 Screen

The payment is screened before it moves onward, as part of ongoing transaction monitoring.

03 Convert

Licensed partner converts

A licensed partner takes the fiat leg and performs the conversion. Kollect never holds the funds.

04 Payout

Fiat lands in your bank

Settlement is paid into the bank account you nominated, in USD, EUR, SGD.

Why does a licensed partner handle the fiat leg?

Because converting stablecoin to fiat and paying it into a bank account is regulated activity. Kollect is not the licensed entity for it, so a partner that is takes that leg. It is also why Kollect never holds the funds.

What lands in my bank account?

The invoiced amount less the processing fee for your plan, converted at the rate the licensed partner applies with no separate Kollect markup on top. Settlement to your local bank account is included on every plan rather than billed separately.

How do I reconcile a settlement against an invoice?

Each payment carries a reference from creation through to payout, and settlement webhooks fire against it, so a payout can be matched to the invoice that produced it programmatically rather than by hand.

Settlement questions

Every answer here is mirrored verbatim in this page's FAQ structured data, so nothing is hidden behind a click.

01

Who holds my money during a stablecoin-to-fiat settlement?

A licensed partner does, and only during the fiat leg. Kollect is non-custodial and never takes custody: payments are received on-chain and passed to licensed partners for conversion and payout.

02

What does converting stablecoin to fiat cost?

The transaction processing fee for your plan, which sits in the 0.45-0.75% range and falls as quarterly volume rises. There is no separate Kollect markup on the conversion itself, and settlement to your local bank account is included on every plan.

03

Which bank account can the fiat be settled into?

An account you control, in USD, EUR, SGD. The account is nominated during onboarding, after KYB, and changing it later goes through support rather than being self-service.

04

Can I settle to more than one bank account?

Multiple bank accounts are available from the Small plan upward. The entry plan settles to one local bank account.
