Can a customer pay by bank and you receive stablecoin?

Yes, and it is the rail that removes the wallet from your customer's side entirely. They need no wallet and no crypto: they pay an invoice from their bank account the way they always have, and you receive stablecoin in a wallet you control.

01 Invoice

Send the payment link

The link is denominated in USD, the same as any other Kollect payment.

02 Pay

Customer pays from their bank

They pay the invoice from a bank account. There is no wallet to create and no crypto to buy first.

03 Convert

Regulated on-ramp converts

A licensed on-ramp partner handles the fiat leg and the conversion into stablecoin.

04 Receive

Stablecoin lands in your wallet

The stablecoin is delivered to the wallet address you nominated, which you control throughout.

Why would I want to receive stablecoin rather than fiat?

Because it stays on-chain and under your control, with no bank in the path and no conversion to wait on. It suits businesses already holding treasury in stablecoin, or paying suppliers in it, where converting to fiat and back would only add cost.

What does this ask of my customer?

Only what a normal invoice does. They pay from a bank account, with no wallet to create, no exchange account and no crypto to buy first. The wallet is on your side of the transaction, not theirs.

Who converts the fiat into stablecoin?

A regulated on-ramp partner handles that leg. Kollect is non-custodial and does not perform the conversion or hold the funds while it happens; the stablecoin is delivered to the wallet address you nominated.

Settlement questions

Every answer here is mirrored verbatim in this page's FAQ structured data, so nothing is hidden behind a click.

01

Does my customer need a crypto wallet to pay by bank?

No. That is the point of this rail. They pay the invoice from their bank account with no wallet, no exchange account and no crypto bought in advance. The wallet is on your side, not theirs.

02

Which rails does Kollect support, and which does it not?

Three: stablecoin to stablecoin, stablecoin to fiat, and fiat to stablecoin. Fiat to fiat is unsupported by design, because a payment that never touches a stablecoin has no reason to route through Kollect.

03

Can I test a fiat-to-stablecoin payment before going live?

Yes. The guided sandbox runs on Sepolia (sandbox only) and issues a real invoice with a working payment link, using test tokens only. Nothing of value moves, and there is no signup until the final step.
